We are seeking a well-rounded and high-energy VP or Director of Finance to join our Finance team reporting to our CFO. Some facts about us:

We are looking for someone with excellent financial skills and experiences, who works well with others, has a passion for leadership, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and can help the Company’s growth/expansion and profitability

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Lead all aspects of accounting team including monthly closing process and preparation of financial statements, cash management and system integrations
  • A solid understanding of GAAP and purchase accounting
  • Strong understanding of various financial systems and the understanding to provide one single data location
  • Lead the integration of recently acquired organization into one accounting system
  • Set accounting and finance department goals and lead staff to achieve those goals
  • Support the day-to-day accounting functions including payables, receivables, general ledger, billings, collections, cash management capital expenditures, etc.
  • Manage and assume overall responsibility for our payroll process and management of one payroll resource
  • Assist with oversight and management of all activities to include direct supervision of accounting and finance staff
  • Develop recommendations to enhance accounting and business operations, systems and procedures
  • Oversee all treasury and bank activities
  • Manage all internal controls

In addition, this role has responsibility for:

  • Manage and oversee our audit process and own the relationship with our audit partner
  • Maintain strong and current tax understanding and manage our tax responsibilities
  • Ownership of our bank relationship and reporting
  • Consulting practice P&L reporting
  • Work with senior management to provide financial analysis and business metrics
  • Support Ad hoc requests as necessary (i.e. support M&A activities as necessary)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong accounting and financial skills
  • Significant general ledger experience
  • Strong system skills, experience with Net Suite and OpenAir systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional level of customer service, professionalism, attention to details
  • Works well in a team environment, willing to share ideas, driven to improve processes
  • Self-motivated, completes tasks, interested in learning new ideas, embraces change, achieves results, high performer
  • High level of comfort with technology tools; NetSuite OpenAir experience a plus
  • Experience working in a Private Equity environment
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions
  • Proficient in the complete suite of Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with professional services firms a plus
  • B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance required; public accounting experience preferred
  • CPA required
