The Role

City & State is seeking an entrepreneurial, creative, analytical and driven individual to join our team. As Sales Executive, you will have the opportunity to cultivate relationships with today’s leading companies and forge long-term relationships across your assigned portfolio of print, digital and event sponsorship opportunities.


  • Consulting with new and existing clients to create sales and marketing platforms through our events
  • Conduct outreach and strategize sales efforts to build customized advertising and sponsorship platforms for client base
  • Identifying untapped markets and creating new revenue streams


  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years sales experience. Experience in Events, Media, Advertising or Public Relations preferred
  • Experience in the nonprofit/government sector and/or with a Pennsylvania client base is a plus
  • Proven salesperson who excels in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Motivated by the potential of uncapped commission structures and building long-term client relationships
  • Strong cold calling and negotiation skills
