Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Human Resources Trainer to support the Human Resources department.

The Human Resources (HR) Trainer will support the Human Resources Manager with the design, development, and implementation of training programs for the organization.

***CFC offers a hybrid work schedule which includes three (3) core days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two (2) remote workdays (Monday and Friday)***


Essential Functions:

  • Manage the training process by meeting with Senior Leadership and managers to understand training needs within the department.
  • Identify, develop, and train new employees on internal and external systems for each department.
  • Design, and develop training materials and programs.
  • Identify, develop, and offer training using online resources and technologies to support organizational development.
  • Engage with Senior Leadership to support the design of a certification program for each department to support employee career growth.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training through surveys, formal check-ins, and building rapport with employees.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of training and development experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Strong computer and internet skills including all MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
  • Self-starter who has the ability to mentor, guide, and support employees and management.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner.
  • Financial Services industry work experience preferred.
