Human Resource Manager

A client of ours is looking for is looking for a Human Resource Manager for a progressive food manufacturing company. As the Human Resource Manager, you will be responsible for identifying legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.  This role is Hybrid.

Responsibilities of Human Resource Manager

  • Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.

  • Develop, analyze, and update the company’s evaluation program

  • Maintain and revise the company’s handbook on policies and procedures

  • Oversee recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads

  • Maintain department records and reports

  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.

  • Recommend new policies, approaches, and procedures

  • Maintain affirmative action programs

  • Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.

  • Conduct employee relations counseling

  • Prepare reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.

  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.

  • Perform benefits administration

  • Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures

  • Create and revise job descriptions
