The Role

Entegris is seeking a Human Resources Director to join our growing team, in support of our global SCEM (Speciality Chemicals and Engineered Materials) division.

The new HR Director will be responsible for managing a dynamic team of field HR Business Partners and providing strategic human resource support for all levels of the SCEM organization. The chosen candidate will be a key member of the SCEM leadership team and will be responsible for aligning HR solutions to the global business strategy.

This position will be based local to our Decatur, TX, Burnet, TX, Danbury, CT, Ambler, PA, Billerica, MA, or Bedford, MA sites.

In this role you will

  • Develop HR strategy, solutions and strategic workforce plans that align to the business and functional strategy and objectives.
  • Coach senior leaders on complex leadership and HR issues including development, engagement, talent performance, and other complex issues that could have the potential to create a competitive advantage for the business.
  • Facilitate organizational diagnoses and metrics to drive organizational effectiveness through talent and organizational capabilities and culture.
  • Develop robust talent management plans and drive culture change initiatives to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent in critical roles.
  • Partner with Center of Excellence (COE) owners in the shaping and execution of appropriate and innovative HR solutions.
  • Support company-wide HR initiatives tied to continuous innovation efforts.
  • Act as a catalyst for change and lead key change management initiatives for the division.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the global HR organization.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • 10+ year’s of Human Resources experience in a global organization.
  • Strong business acumen with proven track record of using analytical skills to develop and implement HR strategy to drive successful business results.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions
  • Experience working in a fast, paced, high-growth company
  • Experience managing a HR system (HRIS) and driving process and data integrity
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cultural change within an organization.
  • Ability to develop solid and positive professional relationships with senior leadership, direct reports, and peers.
  • Experience leading virtual teams.
  • Ability to make and stand behind difficult decisions.
  • Comprehensive HR knowledge and exposure to the mix of HR functions in a global environment, including talent and organizational development, employee and labor relations, compensation, benefits, HRIS, diversity and inclusion, and compliance.
  • Effective negotiating skills with proven ability to influence without direct authority
  • Executive presence; Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time, as needed.

  • Pay Range: The expected salary range for this role is $170,000-$190,000 with actual salary based on candidate’s qualifications and experience
