SPA provides multiple organizations within the Department of Defense with timely and objective assessments and recommendations that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis. We focus on key clients in the undersea community including Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), NAVSEA program managers for the COLUMBIA Class SSBNs and in-service submarines, and the Naval Warfare Centers. We work to provide integrated solutions based on information and communications throughout the chain of command to ensure clear and consistent analysis and recommendations that are aligned to strategic and leadership goals while still being executable by the working level technical communities. SPA has a near term need for a Management and Financial Analyst located on the Philadelphia Navy Yard, supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia. Responsibilities The candidate will provide management and financial analysis support to client leadership and decision makers, including engineer/science management, operations analysis, research analysis, or financial/cost analysis. Qualifications Required Qualifications: * 7 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations analysis, research analysis, or financial analysis. * 3 years experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations * Bachelor's level degree in any technical, operational, or managerial field. * Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to analyze information and communicate to decision makers. * Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment. Desired Qualifications: * Experience with Defense Acquisition System DoD 5000 series and Navy or DoD program planning. * Experience with and knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes.
