Earl R Uehling & Associates, staff counsel for State Farm, is hosting a Summer Intern Program for the Mount Laurel, New Jersey office. This program strives to provide our intern with a balanced and realistic representation of the function of Claims Litigation Counsel, as well as real world exposure to the multitude of legal services being provided. Claims Litigation Counsel defends State Farm and its insured's who have been sued. The selected individual will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with attorneys on assigned projects, attend and observe every phase of the litigation process, and will have a designated supervisor throughout the summer. This is a full-time internship from 5/22/23-8/4/23 paying $28/hr, working in a hybrid environment with some required presence in the office. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs. The summer intern selected will also receive an internship stipend.
Located Mount Laurel, New Jersey, we enjoy an active, busy civil trial practice throughout South Jersey. We provide a congenial, team-oriented professional work environment with skilled support staff.
- 2L students currently enrollment in an ABA accredited law school and remain enrolled for the duration of the internship
- Strong academic credentials preferred
- Strong research skills including familiarity with Westlaw
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
