We’re looking to engage a customer centric VP of Customer and Brand Marketing with an entrepreneurial spirit. Someone who will facilitate the implementation of the annual and short range marketing strategies and execute the plan. You’ll partner with sales teams to maximize profitability of company’s portfolio. Manage, coach and lead the Marketing and Communications teams towards targeted revenue growth, desired profitability, and future direction consistent with company objectives. Liaison and communicate with I&D, Regulatory, Sales, Operations, and Finance on all corporate/subsidiary plans and programs.
What will you be doing
- Directs, coordinates and provides leadership to assigned staff, insuring adequate and appropriate resources to perform work throughout the North American Marketing and Communications team. Provides leadership and assistance in developing and maintaining goals for department staff.
- Partners with Sales to assess the communications needs of the business, work to develop a budget and provide oversight to the communications team in interacting and managing these budgets.
- Establishes and monitors expense budgets and insures appropriate controls exist.
- Plays an active role in insuring short and mid term results for the organization.
What do you bring
You’re a leader who is passionate about success and winning who brings at least 10 years prior experience in sales and/or marketing in North America with emphasis on partnering with major accounts and have strong, positive relationships with industry decision makers. Ideally you have a background within the North America Agriculture Market including Crop Protection and/or Turf & Ornamental and hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in marketing. You have exposure to the business development side including portfolio rationalization. You also have knowledge of product planning/development, marketing research, sales forecasting and 8-10 years of product management experience with responsibility for profit and loss, ad agency, packaging, pricing and promotion.
You’re comfortable operating in an agile environment and you have an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to travel overnight 50% of the time. You’re well versed in marketing management tools and you have strong presentation skills. Most importantly, you have high energy and integrity and you thrive off being empowered to own your own outcomes.
