Systems Engineer Bogart Associates requires one (1) full-time equivalent to serve as the IT Systems Engineer responsible for maintaining/configuration of a facility's IT infrastructure and associated architectural activities. Operational maintenance for the infrastructure will require review and update of the architecting and configuring of all items of the computing stack from the operating system to the database to the application servers. Work closely with training facility customers, instructors, and students to support training activities. This position is located in the suburban Philadelphia area. Occasional CONUS travel may be required. General position activities include, but not limited to: Documentation of all infrastructure architecture and build guides
Maintain configuration of base operating system on physical servers
Maintain the creation of virtual machines on each server
Maintain configuration of database server software
Maintain configuration of Share Drive software
When applicable, backup and transfer of old systems data to new machines
Create backup/restore/archive scripts
Support all IT requirements from start/to finish, while classes are in sessions
Maintain all secret laptops and unclassified computers in accordance with Sponsor regulations Required Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a current TS/SCI (with poly) clearance or higher at the start of the contract
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and building of a Windows Server 2012 R2, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Share Drive infrastructure
Demonstrated experience utilizing Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V to virtualize servers Demonstrated experience with virtualization, creating VDI systems Demonstrated experience with Certification and Accreditation process Demonstrated experience with Share Drive 2013 as a Site Administrator
Understanding of networking -configuration of routers, switches Experience administering Linux workstations Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to present to various user populations Ability to work independently and as an effective leader, planning and organizing work and have the flexibility to adjust to a changing environment and short deadlines
Must be a Data Transfer Officer or be able to take the training to become one
Must be a Crypto custodian or be able to take the training to become one  
Specific Tasks: Lead effort to obtain Re-certification and Accreditation for IT infrastructure (secret, unclassified); work closely with Office of Security and ISSM to complete all associated re-certification/accreditation activities, including documentation.
Serve as Data Transfer Officer to transfer data between systems of various classification levels.
Serve as primary crypto custodian onsite and is responsible for various crypto duties to include, but not limited to inventories and crypto updates/actions.
Trains IT personnel on the various complex IT equipment required to support courses.
Primary POC for power outages-engages with various elements to trouble shoot network problems to expedite solutions;
Develop/continually update SOP (living document) for alumni tracking, student accounts, IT systems, IC/Staff accounts and changing requirements for course IT support to manage/facilitate a multitude of courses held at the training facility
Provides IT guidance to ADN inquires and equipment
Provides IT expertise/guidance to procure secret and unclassified recaps for computers to stay current with latest technology.
Implements/applies required software securely for all secret and unclassified computer recaps, while keeping IT systems up to date in the customer system
Keeps accountable property records for all equipment to include the LAN room. and conducts yearly inventories
Provide classroom support for classes held throughout the year. Associated activities include, but not limited to:
o Setting up, configuring and maintaining technological components required for instructor use/development and for classroom activities o Train instructors and staff to use technology (whiteboards, Turning Point, Share Drive, etc.) Act as Share Drive Administrator for local area network o Support students; o Create user accounts, setup student laptops, computer instruction, other IT support
o Create surveys for student feedback in Share Drive, export results and upload to customer Share Drive site. o Serve as primary POC for the implementation of course feedback to be complied and documented electronically o Provide tier 1, 2 and 3 feedback support o Manage internet accessible computers for students and provide support o Provide network support for Internet connectivity and backups (server, database, etc) o Patching and Virus updates for internal network and Internet computers • Investigate new technologies
