Job Summary Effectv, a division of Comcast Advertising, is hiring a Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships. In this position, you will work cross-functionally to identify, develop, and execute partnership deals that support Effectv’s growth strategy and further the value of Effectv’s portfolio of advertising solutions. Additionally, you will manage cross-functional efforts to ensure vendor compliance with Comcasts privacy, legal, and business protocols.
Job Description
A successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, talent for managing executive and day-to-day partner relationships, the ability to think strategically while remaining detail oriented, negotiating and closing deals, and will bring simplicity and clarity to complex processes.

This candidate will have experience in media, data and technology with a strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem and ongoing digital transformation.

Core Responsibilities
Deal execution management: cross department coordination, agreement process stewardship and commercial terms negotiation
Business owner support : maintains close contact with business owners and their measures of satisfaction with partners' delivery of terms. Keeps oversight of Effectv’s partnership renewal calendar and proactively teams with business owners to assess need for and terms of partnership renewal
Partnership management : proactively fosters relationships with existing and prospective partners. Conducts quarterly business reviews. Manages agreement amendments, renewals and re-negotiations when needed. Ensures sufficient SOW, Work Orders and annual TPSA re-enrollment
Partnership sourcing: Maintains a finger on the pulse of players in the ad tech and data industry, develops evaluation criteria in concert with business owners, leads discovery, prioritizes prospects, and manages RFI and RFP completion
Business case development: evaluates the economics and builds business models in collaboration with Finance for prospective products and/or services
Leadership updates : Provides the VP of Strategic Planning, the Effectv Executive Leadership Team, and Comcast Advertising executive leadership with routine updates on current and expiring partnerships, pipeline deals, and broader developments in partnership strategy
Partnership portfolio optimization: Evaluates Effectv’s current portfolio of partnerships to identify opportunities to streamline vendors and/or achieve greater return on investment by leveraging relationships with FreeWheel and/or Comcast Advertising
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Job Requirements
Experience in a business development or partner management role in the advertising and/or advertising technology space
Experience structuring and negotiating complex media, data and/or technology agreements and managing partners
Expert understanding of the overall advertising ecosystem, especially players within the data and ad tech space
Demonstrated relationship building and collaboration with product and engineering, insights & analytics, sales and marketing, finance and legal teams
Ability to drive strategy and optimize partnership portfolio through organizational alignment and financial resource allocation
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence behavior; high emotional IQ
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong self-starter and independently motivated
Eager to drive positive change, business results, and excellent customer experience across Effectv in partnership with FreeWheel and Comcast Advertising

Education
Bachelor's Degree
