Description:

The Solution designer will be responsible for interfacing with Product Owners, Architecture and Platform teams to design, test and ensure the successful delivery of product feature functionality. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a understanding of business/system analysis and/or Solution design and solid Quality Assurance. Working experience in one or more of the following: requirements gathering techniques, use case definition, architecture diagramming, sequence diagrams, test planning/execution and system requirement analysis, design of network, .

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Partner with Architecture and Design teams to identify and validate (test) feasible E2E solutions based on business need across our BSS/OSS, Network stack and Cyber security /UTM for the versa product, .

• Partner with our Product Owner and Platform teams to document E2E design documents, test plans and test cases that ensure traceability to the feature requests from our product owners.

• Conduct JAD sessions, test case reviews with impacted stakeholders, confirm the deisgn, create the design

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• College/University graduate or equivalent experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and validation of product solutions

• Proficiency in documenting Use Cases, Requirements, Activity Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams, Test Plans and Test Cases in a technical environment

• Experience conducting JAD/RAD/AGILE /Waterfall scrum sessions

• Understanding of SOA and experience writing requirements in a SOA environment

• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills

• Advanced proficiency with use of Microsoft Office applications including, Word, MS Project, Excel and Visio and other tools that facilitate the requirements, design and QA phases of the SDLC

• Ability to work and deliver under the pressure of deadlines and commitments to the customer

• Demonstrates professionalism in all areas of work

• Proficient at time management and meeting deadlines and flexible with changing priorities

. experience with Palo Alto and or Fortinent firewalls

experience with designing software such as Visio, Lucid, chart, etc..

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS or Associate degree in Computer Science or related field

• Experience in cable and/or telecommunications (SD-WAN, Wifi, OTT services, Cybersecurity, Ethernet, etc…)
