They will be primarily responsible for cost center budgeting, month end close, and variance analysis within SAP. Must be great communicators and feel comfortable working cross functionally with different departments. *Day to Day:* • Report to the Senior Plant Cost Accountant or Cost Accounting Manager•Serve as a point of contact for Regional OF COEs and OF AI analysts•Coordinate with OF to prepare recurring and standard journal entries and accruals•Participate in monthly manufacturing plant closings.•Calculate manufacturing variances•Support SOX and internal audit •Attend monthly site review meetings with OF and plant personnel •Support ad-hoc analysis and questions from business partners •Ability to travel to manufacturing locations to participate in physical inventory counts and audits.*Skills:** Cost analysis* Cost accounting* Accounting, budgeting* SAP* Budget analysis* Variance analysis* Excel pivot tables and macros* Product costing* Material Ledger* Bill of materials* COGS*Additional Skills & Qualifications:*-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related -2+ years of financial analysis and accounting-2+ years of using SAP -Good communicator (working cross functionally across multiple groups) -Manufacturing or Pharma Industry experience About Aston Carter: At Aston Carter, we’re dedicated to expanding career opportunities for the skilled professionals who power our business.
