Responsibilities

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Center City - Philadelphia are currently hiring Full Time Divisional Float Registered Nurses for ICU/Critical Care. ICU/Critical Care Nurses will float to all Intensive and Critical Care Units as well as Intermediate Care, Telemetry, Progressive Care, and Medical Surgical Units as needed.

  • Divisional Float Registered Nurses will work on the inpatient units as mentioned above at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Jefferson Methodist Hospital, and Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience.

Qualified candidates will have

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU/Critical Care Experience
  • Proof of an adult Critical Care Course (either completion certificate or transcript)
  • BLS/ACLS
  • Graduate of an accredited BSN Program
  • Pennsylvania RN License

All positions are either Night Shift (6:45pm-7:15am) or rotating with an every 3rd weekend requirement.

Divisional Float Registered Nurses are compensated their base rate + a premium for an increased overall hourly rate. Divisional Float RNs will receive shift differential for night and weekends as well as holiday pay. Divisional Float RNs will be added to the 2 year holiday track where the 7 major holidays are rotated over a 2 year period.

Divisional Float Nurses are a permanent addition to the staff, will work 72 hours bi-weekly, and are eligible to participate in the full time benefit program including Tuition Reimbursement, Retirement Plan, and Earned Time Off while putting your skillset to use by working in various units throughout the hospitals.

Conditions of Employment

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
