Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a high performing and detail-oriented individual to assist attorneys in the closing of transactional financings. This position can be located in Delaware, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore, Atlanta, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, New Jersey or Minneapolis.
The successful candidate will have significant experience with title & survey review, due diligence review, negotiation of loan documents, UCC searches/filings and organizing closing documentation.
This position requires a demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly excellent technical writing skills, are essential. Must be able to work independently, as well as with a team and with clients. Intermediate-level skills working with Microsoft Office applications, document management systems and time-keeping software are necessary. Must be able to work overtime when needed.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a college degree or relevant work experience and 2+ years transactional and real estate experience with a law firm, title company, mortgage company or other related entity. Title, plat, and survey review experience is required.
