Description: Our client is currently seeking a Mortgage Software Support Specialist.
The Mortgage Software Specialist I will have designated responsibilities for the implementation, maintenance and administration of all mortgage software products utilized by the mortgage division.
This position serves as IT Help Desk personnel to meet individual needs of mortgage division team members.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GED or High School diploma Minimum of 3 years' experience of mortgage lending processes, procedures and regulations
- Customer service driven - responsive to issues and concerns
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to establish a professional and collaborative working relationship with others Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred:
- College degree in computer science or related field
- Encompass LOS experience
Specific Job Functions:
- Responds to assigned Help Desk tickets related to user issues for assigned system(s) and provide interdepartmental support by responding to inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and determining solutions
- Accessible as a resource after hours
- Assists Mortgage Software Manager to implement new product/enhancements for mortgage software
- Handle miscellaneous technical issues regarding main loan operating system and other software products
- Document internal procedures in change management and other logs provided
- Complies with regulatory rules and regulations, evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability
- Performs other duties as appointed by management
