Qualifications:

Required Qualifications, Skills, & Experience * Bachelor's degree + minimum 3 years of relevant experience in life sciences and process- and systems-related coordination * Doctor of pharmacy graduates preferred * Experience partnering with business stakeholders across geographies, therapy areas, and functions to meet business needs in a timely and compliant manner * Experience working independently to design and produce slide decks within an easy-to-navigate framework that supports stakeholder use with external customers * Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently, escalating risks and issues as appropriate * Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to learn on the fly while understanding and solving new problems that require a high level of independent judgement and initiative * Ability to identify the most efficient and effective way to implement new solution * Proven ability to innovate and think non-traditionally * Strong business acumen and ability to judge whether ideas can lead to compliant and value-adding customer solutions * Excellent verbal and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within the organization * Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills * Strong leadership skills and proven ability to influence without authority * Good interpersonal and networking skills * Curiosity and willingness to constantly challenge the status quo * Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with global stakeholders to achieve business objectives * Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills * Software: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, Veeva Vault MedComms (Nice to have) * Friendly, outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic, stimulating Preferred * Experience working at an affiliate, regional, and/or global level * Our team is responsible for creating external tools and resources for scientific exchange and in response to medical information inquiries *NOTE*: PA/NJ candidates preferred but can be 100% remote role as well, 12 months assignment with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities: Senior Specialist, Global Scientific Content reports to the GSC Team Lead and focuses on several key functions within the GSC Team. This role directly supports the GSC Team in developing resources (e.g., slide decks, Medical Information Letters (MILs), Verbal Response Documents (VRDs) for use by the Field Medical Organization and Global Medical Information Staff, among other responsibilities. This role participates in transformational initiatives in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of Global Medical and Value Capabilities (GMVC). The Senior Specialist is responsible for the following functions: * GSC Design and Publishing: Designs and publishes GSC resources for GMSA Field Medical and Global Medical Information staff * Innovative GSC Practices and Procedures for GMSA and Collaborating Departments: Develops creative solutions for communicating GSC in multiple formats based on internal and external customer needs * Quality/Compliance: Critically analyzes and evaluates the rendering, display, and presentation of scientific and therapeutic data for use by internal stakeholders to respond to Medical Information Requests (MIRs) * Leadership and Mentoring: Translates GSC goals and needs into strategic visual designs where information is easily located and communicated effectively and efficiently to promote understanding Responsibilities and Primary Activities * Manages innovative design, consultation, and development for infographics or other digital media used for in the development of GSC content based on internal and external customer needs * Serves as an advocate for changing customer needs for GSC, particularly for GMSA Field Medical and Global Medical Information (GMI) staff * Assumes the role of GMSA expert on applying adult learning principles for the development and creation of presentation materials, training materials, and medical content * Is viewed by GMSA stakeholders as a subject matter expert (SME) in applying SharePoint and other technology platforms to fulfill multiple business requirements * Serves as an SME for consulting on the design and organization of GSC publishing documents (i.e., templates and slide sets) * Collaborates effectively with peers and stakeholders to offer a new perspective on existing solutions while offering new innovations for the organization and communication of scientific content for GMSA Field Medical and GMI staff * Creates, organizes, manages, troubleshoots, and provides related customized training for departmental Team Spaces * Evaluates new technologies to best support GSC organization needs * Identifies and provides business rationale for opportunities to enhance the organization and design of GSC resources for distribution with the goal of promoting professionalism through visual impact * Serves as a consultant for the impactful visual format of GSC through an in-depth knowledge of typography, iconography, color, and space.

Comments/Special Instructions: Day to Day: * This will be within oncology (Lung cancer, melanoma, and head & Neck cancer) * Creation of new medical communications content (medical info letter, slide decks, MSL, F&Q docs) * Maintaining and updating those when new data comes out * Support with quality checks and review * Person would be also pulled in to GST team meetings to stay up to date. * Contractor would not be involved in strategic meetings * Global medical information: for creating letters, content data. * Creating content * Being able to analyze the data and summarize it in meaningful way, literature searches. * Multitasker and prioritize * Being efficient * Great communication skills * Team player, Attention to detail * Quality checks of content for accuracy and detail * Detail oriented
