NüPOINT is a full-service marketing agency with offices in Delaware and Arizona. We help clients grow their businesses by helping them tell their stories. We provide clients with strategic marketing, through market research, brand management, public relations, advertising, content development, creative strategies and website development.
Working under the direction of a NüPOINT Managing Partner and interfacing directly with clients, the Account Manager will devote 50% of their time in two areas: 1) supporting a specific client as a dedicated marketing consultant, and 2) serving other NüPOINT clients. For the dedicated client support, the account manager will work directly with that client’s senior management team to develop and maintain a dynamic working relationship to ensure the high-quality implementation of the client’s marketing strategies, monitor the effectiveness of that client’s marketing initiatives, recommend adjustments as necessary, and identify new marketing opportunities that will advance the client’s agenda and improve the agency’s profitability.
Also working under the direction of a Managing Partner, the Account Manager will devote the remaining 50% of their time working with other agency personnel to develop written, social and creative content, to manage project implementation, conduct media relations activities, and identify new business opportunities.
Essential Job Functions
NüPOINT is seeking a dynamic candidate who will work proactively and passionately with the clients we serve. The Account Manager will act as a primary point of contact for the clients they are assigned to and will focus on building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships, always striving to identify and deliver products and services that best fit the clients’ needs. The Account Manager leads project implementation in partnership with the client, identifies opportunities, understands and quickly resolves implementation problems, responds to client inquiries in a timely manner, maintains account records and files, and collaborates across the agency to ensure that the accounts for which they are responsible remain engaged with and profitable to the agency.
To succeed in this position, a candidate will be self-motivated and a relationship-builder with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. They will be resourceful, analytical, organized, flexible, well spoken, willing to accept ownership for accomplishing tasks, and ready to engage with clients when and where necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, communications or related field
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all levels
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- 3-5 years’ direct experience managing client relationships
- Sound understanding of marketing principles and strategy
- Sound understanding of public relations and media relations
- Social media strategy and writing experience
- Expert at Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps
- Familiarity with WordPress, able to update website content
- Basic graphic design skills
