LOOKING FOR FUND ACCOUNTANT / INVESTMENT ACCOUNTANT IN WILMINGTON, DE

We are looking for Fund Accountants / Investment Accountants in Wilmington, DE. This position can be fully remote for the right candidate. We have 2 positions open. This is an immediate need.

JOB DETAILS:

Job title: Fund Accountant III

Location: Wilmington, DE

Pay Rate: $51.00/hr

Duration: 12+ Months

Can be remote for the right candidate but will prefer someone local to Wilmington, DE

Senior level fund accountant position

Experience with hedge funds that invest in other hedge funds a plus

Looking for someone with accounting experience- fund investment experience preferred

Reviewing funds experience required

A plus if they have experience with futures or derivatives

Software- Excel, other investment accounting systems a plus

Skills- attention to details

Interview process- one round with multiple managers

Do not have to be local to Wilmington- but preferred

Qualified candidate will be responsible for preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. May lead and direct the work of others. Expert skills in Excel required. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty, may require an advanced degree, and 6+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
