An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the international payments space, covering a business growing at 20% in the Americas and a high growth eCommerce unit.
Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of business performance analytics, identification of trends/ risks & opportunities and business insight to the senior management team.
You will be comfortable analyzing large amounts of transactional data to identify the most critical insights, which will help to drive continued growth in this exciting business.
The Senior Finance Manager will be required to build strong relationships with the senior leadership team as well as the sales organizations they support while developing a solid understanding of the business dynamics across the different areas.
What you will do
You will be a pivotal member of those teams, providing robust commercial finance support to enable effective decision making and drive attainment of budget and other business goals.
Supporting the annual budget and semi-annual forecast process, taking ownership for the Americas and Ecommerce.
Tracking in-month performance including KPIs, analyzing trends and highlighting risks to financial performance with potential mitigating actions for consideration.
Understanding key risks and opportunities to financial performance and maintaining rolling FY forecast.
Providing weekly dashboard reporting and monthly analysis and insights of geographical and product performance to senior stakeholders including variance analysis into drivers of over and under attainment vs budget, key trends and sustainability of them and recommendations for actions which should be taken to take advantage or defend against them.
Supporting the preparation of business cases for new business, products and/or contract renegotiations for submission to the Go To Market and/or Commercial Committees.
Driving pricing improvement actions focused on identifying pricing efficiency opportunities, liaising with key stakeholders and then implementing the improvement actions
Optimizing the usage of data systems, helping to identify business reporting needs and driving the standardization of reporting, reviewing and maintaining key standing data and reporting metrics
Monitoring closure of audit points where relevant to the Americas and Ecommerce.
Ad hoc commercial finance support to business partners, senior management and others where needed
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and a strong academic record
Experienced in analysing country / division / product performance and identifying trends, risks and opportunities and seeing where best practices can be shared
Experienced liaising with senior management, a good communicator and adept at building relationships across teams
Must be logical, self-motivated, proactive, with strong analytical skills and a high level of intellectual curiosity
Excellent time management skills, demonstrating high levels of accuracy, thoroughness and reliability whilst coping under pressure
Advanced excel skills
Experienced working within a business that handles a high number of transactions
Possesses exceptional analytical and communication skills with a high level of intellectual curiosity who can quickly assimilate and translate data into actionable and prioritised plans.
Pricing experience would be an advantage
