THE POSITION
The Department of Corrections, State Correctional Institute at Chester is seeking an organized, positive individual to provide clerical support.
If you are a dedicated individual with a positive attitude, is organized, and pays attention to details, as well as having a strong interest in clerical work, this may be the position for you. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerk Typist 2 you will provide clerical and office support to your assigned institution. You will be responsible for filing, typing a variety of documents, and inputting data for various departments within the institution, operate office equipment and maintaining computer databases and records.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title);or
-
Graduation from high school;or
-
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
