Assists physicians, nurses, technicians and physician assistant during office hours. Performs phlebotomy, EKGs and Holter hook-ups, files reports, answers telephones, prepares patient charts and examination rooms. Responsible for greeting and registering patients upon arrival, scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, input of data into computer, batching encounter forms and collecting patient payments. Files patient records and reports alphabetically. Prepares patient charts for office and diagnostic visits. Answers telephones. Processes requests for reports and records.
Pulls and prepares patient charts prior to patient appointments. Escorts patients to exam rooms and obtains and records patient information (weight and blood pressure) prior to physician examination. Assists with diagnostic testing, as assigned. Performs responsibilities with respect to appropriate specific chronological age, developmental age, social maturity, and cultural background of the patient being treated. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.Full time days/ evenings, varied shifts. Stationed in Flourtown/ Willow Grove locations, required travel to other Jefferson Urgent Care locations as needed.
- Degree/Diploma Obtained from Program of Study Required/Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic CPR Certification

- 1 - 2 years experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred.
