The group includes Home Lending; Auto; Cards, Retail and Merchant Services; Personal Lending; Consumer Lending Control; and Consumer Lending Shared Services.

The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

The Wells Fargo Credit Card Marketing team is seeking an above-the-line (ATL) advertising consultant to support our credit card advertising efforts in broad reaching channels, including but not limited to, TV, audio, upper funnel digital and social, sponsorship, customer media integrations and more. This consultant’s work will be rooted in driving operational excellence for the team, ensuring the delivery of flawless media and creative tactics and campaigns. They will drive campaign operations, legal and compliance approvals, and control processes, among other responsibilities, for the effective marketing and distribution of Wells Fargo credit card products via ATL media channels. 

Media Operations

  • Partner closely with paid media channel leads and media agency partners to ensure that approved, optimal creative and targeting is accurately deployed
  • Support execution of media tactics in key areas, including development and review of targeting grids, integration with creative teams, partnership with paid acquisition team, and agency engagement
  • Manage billing and 3rd party vendor management requirements, and assist with monthly media budget tracking and reconciliation
  • Creative Development and Review
  • Consult on and help drive production of credit card advertising and sponsorship marketing assets in partnership with Advertising and Sponsorship teams
  • Document our campaigns for leader share-outs and archive purposes

Campaign Execution

  • Support advertising team as additional point of contact with vendors and external partners, ensuring that all campaigns are launched correctly and in a timely fashion
  • Assist with creative, legal and compliance reviews and documentation via online submission portal to ensure regulatory compliance; track results across campaign components.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years advertising and/or digital marketing experience: advertising operations, channel management (i.e. TV, social, digital, OOH, audio) and execution
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time while maintaining outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
  • 3+ years experience working with or for vendor and agency management
  • 3+ years experience actively creating, managing, reporting on, and optimizing marketing campaigns and tactics
  • Experience pulling data and preparing results for review with senior business leaders
  •  Experience marketing in regulated industry, and working closely with review partners to market products in a manner that meets standards
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; deep knowledge of and experience with digital marketing and advertising platforms (i.e. DV360, Social platforms, data driven and connected TV) preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
